I have had one injector fail and repair on my 93 NA with 200K+ miles. Recently another appears to have failed. Last time a Z mechanic told me that clogged injectors could be cleaned. If failure is caused by fuel impurities, dirty fuel, could an injector be "shocked" back into operation. I was thinking of using an old camera capacitor that powers the flash to shock the injector a few times. My thinking is that since the injector became inoperative over time that the clogging matter could be forced out. Of course if the injctor ohmed out bad then that would be out of the question. Any thoughts? Also, is there any procedure for cleaning the fuel rail with kerosene?
